Manuel Cabrera is working on a project to develop a holiday complex in the municipality of Iranduba, in the province of Manaus in Brazil. The complex will consist of one area for a 5 star hotel (Hotel Farol da Amazônia) and another area with holiday apartments; along with parking, outdoor swimming pools, terraces, gardens and a sports area. Situated on the banks of the River Amazon, the whole complex will enjoy fabulous views both of the rainforest and the river.
The hotel has 28 floors, including service areas. A feature worth highlighting is an interior courtyard around which the bedrooms are built, and the building is topped with a glass dome that at night will project the light from inside the building just like a real lighthouse. To crown the building there is a panoramic viewing area. This viewing floor will have a restaurant, bar and chillout zone.
On the lower, semi-basement floors, will be themed restaurants, a spa, gym, shops terraces and outdoor swimming pools. Above the main lobby, you´ll find the Convention floor, which has been conceived as a multi-purpose area, not just for conferences and conventions, but also for family events and celebrations.
